“So How Come I got It Then?” Walcot Chapel Bath 2006
A large multi-media piece offering a journey into past, present and inherited trauma through the artist’s own experience of breast cancer and the family history of the Holocaust. The installation consists of 3 booths combining sound and projection decorated within a black draped space.
Growing up with parents who had survived the Holocaust, Lorna had come to believe that no more horrors could happen to her family. The title of the installation can be understood as a rhetorical question to her father, “So How Come I Got It Then?
