an investigation of  ‘ remnants, remains and memories’

Traces was a Group Show at Corsham Court Wiltshire featuring work made by 7 artists who all took part in the Post Graduate Artists Teachers Scheme (ATS) run by Bath Spa University. The work was shown again at 44AD Gallery, an exciting new contemporary arts space in Bath and was extremely well received.

As a result of the course new work was made revisiting old material presented in a new way exploring issues of place, trauma, family belonging and separation.

Lorna revisited the source material for ‘The Dobrzyn Room’, her first large scale Installation (2002) and made some new work, developing techniques and skills in large scale digital print and blind embossed etching, as well as producing new free standing and wall based pieces arising from her practice as an installation artist.
